Donat Rétif - Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Belgium

Donat Rétif

was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2008. As Managing Director Truvo Belgium, Mr Retif has driven the world class company growth between 2005 and 2008. Prior to joining Truvo he held the position of Vice President Sales - West (California, Hawaii, and North West) with Verizon and was responsible for their westcoast revenue and sales teams. Mr. Retif also served with Verizon in Canada and was associate Vice-President for Operations and Business Development. Before joining Verizon he held the Operations Director position in Promedia (now Truvo Belgium) following its merge with its direct competitor Belgacom Directory Services.

 

Andrew Day - Chairman of The Board

Andrew Day has been named Chairman, effective June 2008. As Chief Executive Officer since early 2005, Mr. Day set the strategic direction for the business and transformed World Directories into Truvo . Before joining Truvo, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Sensis, Australia's predominant directories business, where he spent the last five years shaping and implementing the new strategy of Sensis. Mr. Day was also Managing Director of Telstra, an Australian telecommunications company.

 

 

 

Marc Goegebuer - Chief Financial Officer

Marc Goegebuer has been Chief Financial Officer of World Directories since 2001. Mr. Goegebuer joined the World Directories group in 1992 as the Finance Director of Promedia, where he later became the Director of Operations. In 1999, he became the Director of VNU's business development department. Prior to joining the World Directories group, he held various finance management positions at Federal Express, Digital Equipment and GTE. Mr. Goegebuer is also a member of the board of directors of Truvo Intermediate.

 

 

 

Jose Lema-Abreu - MD Portugal

Jose Lema-Abreu started in March 2006 as Managing Director of Páginas Amarelas, now Truvo Portugal. From 1982, Mr. Lema held senior marketing and sales positions with ITT World Directories in Puerto Rico. Later he was Marketing Director and Deputy General Manager for World Directories in Japan. Mr. Lema joined World Directories from Verizon Information Services in the United States where he was Vice President Sales.

David McGuffey - MD Ireland

David McGuffey joined Truvo Ireland as Managing Director in May 2008.Mr. McGuffey joins us from Verizon Information Services in the USA, where he was Regional Vice President for California. Prior to this, he spent over eight years in Europe managing directory businesses in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has extensive experience of directory operations and considerable achievement in managing sales growth.

 

 

 

Ian Harrison - MD The Netherlands

Ian Harrison is the Managing Director of Gouden Gids BV, now Truvo Netherlands, since October 2006. Mr. Harrison worked from 2002 for BT Directories as General Manager BT Phone Book. Mr. Harrison has acquired his expertise in the business through sales and commercial director positions he held with ITT World Directories in Belgium, Puerto Rico and in the UK. Ian Harrison joined World Directories in July 2005 as Managing Director Golden Pages.

 

 

 

 

Pierre Gatz - Chief Technology Officer

Pierre Gatz started in July 2005 as Chief Information Officer for World Directories. Mr. Gatz has been active before as consultant, advisor and investor in electronic publishing. He advised equity firms in London and New York. During 15 years, Mr. Gatz was Director & Partner of Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing, active in e-publishing services. In March 2008, Pierre Gatz has been named Chief Technology Officer, his responsibilities include Online Execution and Delivery.

 

 

 

 

 

Peter Vandenheulen - VP Human Resources

Peter Vandenheulen is a Vice President of Truvo, with responsibility for Human Resources since June 2002. Prior to joining World Directories he was Human Resources Director for Coca-Cola's European headquarters and simultaneously divisional Human Resources Director for Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. Mr. Vandenheulen has also worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco.

 

 

 

 

 

Damien Wodak - VP of Strategy

Damien Wodak was appointed Director of Strategy during the second half of 2006. Mr. Wodak joined World Directories in July 2005 as Director Business Planning & Reporting. Mr. Wodak worked for Sensis Pty Ltd from 2000 until 2005 where he was a member of the Senior Leadership Team and held positions in Marketing as well as Strategy & Corporate Development. Prior to Sensis, Mr. Wodak held various positions with Nestlé and Schweppes Cottee's.

 

 

 

 

Andrew White - VP Corporate Controller

Andrew J. White is our Vice President & Corporate Controller since June 2006. Mr. White was Chief Financial Officer Europe and member of the executive committee of ACNielsen Europe from 2001 until 2004. Thereafter, he was Head of Finance in Europe for Novellus Systems Inc. Previously, Mr. White held various senior international finance and general management positions with Scientific Atlanta Inc., Tektronix Inc. and in the pharmaceutical industry.

 

 

 

 

Wim van Neutegem - VP Tax & Treasury

Wim van Neutegem joined World Directories in April 2005 as Vice President Tax & Treasury. Prior to this Mr. van Neutegem was Senior Vice President Tax with VNU N.V., in that capacity he also served as Vice President Tax of VNU World Directories Inc. Before joining VNU Mr. van Neutegem held various tax positions with Levi Strauss & Co., CarnaudMetalbox SA, and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. van Neutegem is also a member of the board of directors of Truvo Intermediate

 

 

 

Shai Goldman - MD Romania

Shai Goldman has served as the Managing Director of Pagini Aurii since joining the company in July 2000. Prior to joining World Directories, Mr. Goldman was a General Manager of Reuben Carpets Chain and Senior Vice President of Cables of Zion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roelof Zomer - VP Legal Counsel

Roelof Zomer is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Truvo since January 2001. Prior to joining World Directories, he was head of the legal department of Proav N.V. and has worked as a legal consultant for 63 international businesses. Mr. Zomer is a registered "advocaat" with the Dutch bar. Mr. Zomer is also a member of the board of directors of Truvo Intermediate.
