Community Guidelines (or how to live nicely..)

Truvo is a site where you can discover some of your city or town's best-kept secrets and exchange your local knowledge with like-minded people. It’s about having fun, sharing great experiences and learning from your friends. This is a site where your opinions matter so to be fair to everyone who uses the site it’s important that we all respect a few basic guidelines..

Remember it’s no longer fun if someone gets hurt so be nice.

What is very welcome on Truvo..

• Your opinions, experiences and recommendations. Highlight your favourite places to go and let others share in the fun. Who knows, you might meet more people at your favourite pub next time you go!
• Respect for your fellow Truvians. Everyone is entitled to share his or her own experience, this is the beauty of Truvo; we listen and we are heard. No shouting please!
• Common sense. Be mindful that whatever you add to the site is your responsibility and will be available for all to see! Your motto should be: If in doubt, leave it out!
• Contributing to the blog. This is here for you to have your say on what’s going on at Truvo - your thoughts, opinions and feedback are important so get blogging.
• Keeping us in the Loop. Notifying us of somebody’s disregard for these guidelines helps us make the site a nicer place to be. Contact us by email and we’ll reply as soon as possible, don’t worry, we’ll ensure all complaints are kept anonymous!

What is not welcome (and will be kindly shown the door!)..

• Belligerent attacks on people. Truvo is a site to review places, not people – no playground bullying here, we’re all adult.. (well..)
• False or misleading information. Be honest and only review places you’ve actually been to! Otherwise we kind of lose the whole point of the site, capisce?!
• Offensive or abusive content. No bargaining on this one – it’s a VERY BIG no-no.

We think these guidelines are pretty simple to follow and know that you won’t want to disrespect them. However, we have to issue these guidelines to everyone in case of any (exceptional) infraction. Any infringement of these plain and simple rules will result in your content and/or account being deleted - oh dear, not a nice way to go!
