This is a high-leverage, generalist role working directly with the CEO.

This is a high-leverage, generalist role working directly with the CEO. You'll touch everything — fundraising, ops, product strategy, GTM, analytics, partnerships — whatever the highest-priority problem is that week. The right person is scrappy, fast, and genuinely excited about building a company from the ground floor.
What You'll Do
Operations: Own operational projects end-to-end — vendor evaluation, hiring pipeline, process buildout
Analytics: Analyze data to inform product and growth decisions — lead conversion, unit economics, carrier performance
Go-to-Market: Help with lead gen strategy, partnership outreach, and carrier relationships
Communications: Draft investor updates, internal docs, and external comms
Fundraising Support: Investor research, deck iterations, data room management, follow-ups
Whatever's On Fire: Jump into the highest-priority problem — this role changes shape weekly
What We're Looking For
Experience in startups, consulting, banking, or a similarly high-intensity environment
Strong analytical chops — comfortable in spreadsheets, can build a model, knows how to find signal in data
Excellent written communication — can draft an investor email or a Notion doc without hand-holding
Bias toward action — you figure things out before asking, and ship before it's perfect
Genuine interest in insurance, fintech, or AI (bonus if you've worked in any of these)
Based in NYC or willing to relocate

Shipping from Day One: Deploying to production and moving extremely quickly, while taking full responsibility for your projects
Requirements

Builder and Owner: You take ideas from zero to one quickly. You thrive in ambiguity, figure things out, and ship
Applied AI: Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents — building, fine-tuning, or deploying them in production
Systems Thinker: Comfortable with integrations, APIs, and workflow automation. Insurance runs on legacy rails — you will help us rewire them
Scrappy Engineer: Strong software engineering background. Experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes

Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

Your Day to Day at Truvo
Closing Deals: Working warm leads, quoting across multiple carriers, and binding policies — auto, home, renters, pet
Customer Advisory: Helping customers understand their coverage options and making sure they are actually protected, not just cheaply insured
AI Collaboration: Working alongside our AI agents — providing feedback that makes them better, stepping in where human judgment matters
Book Building: Growing and retaining your book of business with renewals, cross-sells, and genuine customer relationships
Requirements
Licensed: Active P&C license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Closer: Proven track record in insurance sales or high-velocity phone sales
Customer-First: You actually care about getting people the right coverage, not just the cheapest quote
Comfortable with Tech: You do not need to code, but you are comfortable with new tools and AI-assisted workflows
Hungry: You want to be early at a company that is going to change an entire industry
Nice to Have: Multi-line experience (auto + home/renters), familiarity with comparative raters, or experience at an insurtech

Your Day to Day at Truvo
Data-Driven Growth: Build and own the marketing analytics stack — attribution, CAC optimization, funnel analysis, and conversion rate optimization across all channels
Performance Marketing: Design, launch, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across search, social, and programmatic channels, with rigorous A/B testing and ROI tracking
Brand & Content: Develop Truvo’s brand voice and content strategy, creating compelling narratives that resonate with consumers shopping for insurance
SEO & Organic: Build a long-term organic growth engine through content marketing, SEO, and thought leadership
Partnerships & Distribution: Identify and execute strategic partnerships and distribution channels to drive customer acquisition at scale
Requirements
Metrics Obsessed: You live in dashboards. You can tie every dollar spent to downstream revenue and make data-backed decisions on where to double down or cut
Full-Stack Marketer: You have built marketing functions from scratch — from paid acquisition and SEO to brand and content, and you know how to prioritize when resources are limited
Growth at Scale: 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally at high-growth startups in fintech, insurtech, or consumer marketplaces
Technical Chops: Comfortable with SQL, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms. You can pull your own data and build your own reports
Builder and Leader: You will be the first marketing hire. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and are ready to build a team as we scale

Build the Team: Recruit, hire, and onboard a world-class sales team at pace — from SDRs to closers — establishing the playbook, culture, and comp structure from day one
Scale the Engine: Design and optimize the full sales funnel — lead qualification, outbound prospecting, demo-to-close workflows, and pipeline management
Own the Number: Set and hit aggressive revenue targets, building reliable forecasting and reporting from scratch
Player-Coach: Sell alongside your team in the early days — get on calls, close deals, and lead by example while building the infrastructure to scale
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering to optimize lead flow, refine messaging, and build tools that accelerate the sales cycle
Requirements
Team Builder: You have built and scaled sales teams before — ideally from single digits to 20+ reps — and you know what good looks like at every stage
